DHL API sudden surge of rates request via API
I'm yusong from DHL Express singapore. We have a concern regarding our customer's shipment rate API request. Customer is on Shopify webstore. Please reach out to me for customer's information.
Customer advised that they are using Easyship Shipping tool. Hence we reach out to you on this matter.
On October 28, 2024, we noticed a significant increase in DHL rate requests within a span of 6 minutes.
This sudden surge has raised questions within our team, as it could potentially be caused by a system scheduler triggering these requests accidentally.
This situation poses risks for both DHL and our network. The high influx of requests could potentially slow down our network, and there is also a possibility of an unintentional cybersecurity incident leading to such a high volume of requests in a short span of time.
I am not able to get hold of customer's Easyship ID and Easyship identifier. While I do have customer's DHL API credential. Please let me know if you require more information to investigate on this matter.
