EORI number for UK shipments

Hello, I know this is not strictly related to the API, but customer support is not quite aware of this technical level detail it seems, and we will need to make changes to our label creation code when sending requests to set the DDU to DDP and input the EORI in the TAX ID field as it seems to not be handled correctly by easyship.

The correct flow is, IF customer is UK, AND order value is less than 135gbp, THEN send EORI with label data and set tax as DDP(pre paid) as it has been collected by us and will be paid on.

ELSE if order is UK and value is over 135gbp, then do not send EORI and set as DDU (customer will pay)

We have added the EORI number to our account in the company section however, it is still not clear on if the EORI number is sent with the EDI of the shipping label data or not, or if it should be shown on the package like a regular TAX ID as it seems it is not used.

We have added the EORI in our account in the dedicated place, as stated in this page

https://support.easyship.com/hc/en-us/articles/360054667731-Brexit-VAT-EORI-Changes#add-your-eori-to-easyship

But the EORI is not displayed on the label, also, for orders under 135GBP the shipment should not be DDU as it has already been received by us and we will then pay it on, thus the reason for an EORI and the label should be DDP (only for orders under 135 gbp, all orders over 135 gbp should be DDU and have no EORI data sent)

The EORI number is not shown on the commercial invoice generated by easyship nor is it DDP so we think the setting to add the EORI on the compnay profile does not work as expected, as it is with DHL when testing Easyship label creation and DHL mypage label creation

So we would like to confirm if the EORI is actually being sent with the EDI as the DDU should be DDP for orders under 135 going to the UK as the law states, this is for all couriers we currently use, DHL, FEDEX, UPS or do we need to add this parameter when making a label as it seems putting the EORI in the company profile essentially does nothing.
